What is The Heritage?

The Heritage is a 3D animated short film that narrates the adventures of its main characters Maya and Baktún. This idea arises from the need to foster care and love for nature in society.

Through 3D animation, we intend to promote and showcase the culture, unique and beautiful landscapes of Guatemala like never before. This is why the story will be taking place in Panajachel, Sololá one of the most iconic sites of Guatemala.

Maya is a curious 5-year-old girl who is always interested in learning new things. Baktun is inspired by a Quetzal, the national bird of Guatemala. This character will be Maya´s best friend and together they will learn and have adventures that will show different places throughout Guatemala.
